7 Restaurants To Visit In Ibiza This Summer
One thing we love about Ibiza is its abundance of restaurants, offering a range of fantastic cuisines from all over the globe.
From flavoursome Moroccan and Indian dishes, juicy burgers and traditional tapas dishes.
You’re never short of options when you’re feeling peckish on The White Isle.
We’ve really missed making table reservations for our favourite places over the last month or so.
With talk of the terraces possibly reopening from next week, we’re already excited about what to order and where.
We’ve chosen a list of our top restaurants to visit in Ibiza this summer.
If you’ve visited Ibiza before and haven’t been to Relish, then you truly missed out that time around. Located in San Antonio Bay, the family-friendly, spacious restaurant provides its diners with a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful service, absolutely gorgeous food, and a tempting cocktail menu to take advantage of.
They pride themselves on their extensive-yet-dedicated menu, featuring a variety of mouthwatering tapas dishes, delicious mains and moreish desserts. With options from Korea to Argentina, you could literally stick a pin in a map and they’re likely to have something from that location available.
Everything can be enjoyed either inside their restaurant, on their sunny terrace or around the pool!
We highly recommend their Miso Salmon dish, it’s outstanding!
2. Can Mimosa
Situated in the beautiful village of Santa Gertrudis, the renovated farmhouse-turned-restaurant is a popular spot to enjoy lunch or dinner from.
People come from all over the island to take in the venues natural, countryside surroundings, alfresco dining and general laid back atmosphere.
Their menu is authentic Mediterranean, however on Sundays you can also opt for a traditional British Roast Dinner, to satisfy those home comfort requirements.
A must-visit when you’re on the island, especially on a warm summer’s day.
Positioned on the beach front in the very beautiful Cala Sant Vicent, The Boat House has a stylish nautical theme, and their menu is definitely worth the journey if you’re staying elsewhere on the island.
With dishes to suit all tastebuds, you’re sure to find something that takes your fancy from the options available.
From authentic Spanish Paella with freshly caught fish, right through to Lebanese Kofta tapas, for those who enjoy those ambrosial, Middle-Eastern flavours.
The Boat House is the perfect spot to spend the afternoon with friends, whilst looking out to sea from inside.
This Japanese-fusion and Sushi eatery in Sant Joan is the go-to place for fans of seriously good, healthy and fresh food.
It’s somewhere a little bit different, perfect for a romantic evening or birthday meal with loved ones.
The outside-dining garden area is draped with soft lighting from the trees, adding that special ambience to your visit.
Their menu is on the higher end of the price bracket, but with dishes such as California Sushi rolls with Caviar, and Japanese Wagyu Beef Tataki to choose from, it’s definitely worth the spend.
One of our favourite restaurants, with stunning sunset views and relaxing vibes, Kasbah is situated along the sunset strip in San Antonio.
Whilst its location is close to the hustle and bustle of the DJ-focused bars such as Cafe Mambo, it’s still far enough away to be able to enjoy a chilled-out evening without distractions.
Their menu is one which has people talking about the food long after they’ve left, and for all the right reasons.
With a Mediterranean-fusion menu, you can enjoy a range of delectable Tapas dishes, succulent steaks, lip-smacking desserts and refreshing cocktails on their terrace.
Kasbah is a popular choice for couples, and the venue isn’t unfamiliar with the occasional marriage proposal as the sun goes down in the background. The perfect setting.
6. La Mesa Escondida
Ibiza has some extremely pictureqsue locations to visit, ideal for those wanting to unwind and connect with themselves again.
One of the most famous sights from the south-west coast of the island is of course the mystical Es Vedra Rock, which is the third most magnetic place on earth.
We all enjoy dinner with a view, and the views from La Mesa Escondida do not disspoint.
You can savour Chef Lorenzo’s marvellous Italian fare, with a combination of other Mediterranean flavours, whilst absorbing the breathtaking view of Es Vedra from your table.
Choose from a range of lovingly prepared recipes, such as their Andalusian Gazpacho starter, Burrata Ravioli mains and lavender flower panna cotta dessert.
Just add your preferred bottle of wine, and voila!
We couldn’t finish without mentioning this little gem, nestled at the bottom of Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town.
It’s the perfect place to ‘plot up’ for a rest, and enjoy their freshly-made tapas menu, and a few glasses of vino in the sun.
This bar/restaurant is one that can’t be missed, their colourful bean-bag seating which is positioned along the cobbled steps, immediately calls your name as soon as you’re in eyeshot.
If you’re thinking “I bet it’s expensive considering the location” then you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
S’Escalinata is pocket friendly and very welcoming.
A place where you never feel rushed, and never want to leave.
A great meeting point to enjoy coffee and lunch (or dinner) with friends.
So there you have it, our top pick of restaurants to try when you’re on the island.
