Las Mimosas is a hotel that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find in The Bay of San Antonio. Tucked away up a quiet dust track, the luxurious-yet-understated boutique suites provide a relaxing break surrounded by nature.
The hotel only opened in June this year and offers a stunning Ibicencan styled living space consisting of 17 suite rooms, all with their own bathroom. The junior suite includes a comfortable sofa bed, for larger families or groups.
The chic apartments ooze style and elegance, with its minimalistic décor and a tranquil atmosphere, it is the perfect spot to ‘get away from it all’ whilst visiting Ibiza.
From the second you enter the stunning courtyard, you feel a sense of ease, almost as if all the weight of the world have been lifted.
The calming outside space means that spending it between sun lounger and pool all day, is definitely a good idea.
Mimo’s, the hotels restaurant offers authentic Italian (and Mediterranean) cuisine, which also includes a traditional wood oven. The attentive staff are always on hand, preparing a selection dishes and of refreshing, summery cocktails for you to enjoy during your stay.
Although the hotel is owned by The Mambo Group (Café Mambo, Savannah etc), it isn’t widely known. Las Mimosas has its own identity, and is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the famous Sunset Strip, which is located just across the water.
They do however offer ‘stripped-back’ live music, from various artists including Brad James, who compliments the ambience effortlessly.
If the comfy apartments, relaxing pool area and fantastic restaurant aren’t enough to tempt you, then the hotel also offers a spa, gym and two treatments rooms for the ultimate ‘retreat feel’ experience.
All in all we’d say that this Boutique Hotel & Spa is by far, one of the best on the island. It’s close to local amenities by foot, but also located just far enough away to feel totally secluded, and at peace.
